About

I grew up in Egypt, where censorship often shaped what people could say, report, and publicly discuss. Discovering American journalism — especially local news — completely changed the way I understood storytelling and the role of the press.

Since then, I’ve reported across several news markets around the world, covering breaking news and enterprise stories across print, radio, broadcast, and documentary work. While I began my career in audio journalism and have a passion for video, I have the most experience in print reporting and longform storytelling.

Outside of journalism, you can usually find me obsessing over soccer, documentaries, or food.
